So it’s 5AM on a Saturday morning. Still hungover from a day of travel. Waking up in a strange bed after a night of very little sleep. [Sounds like the start of a cheap romance novel.] We managed to get what is quickly becoming our usual few hours of restless sleep on game weekends.
We will check out of the hotel here in Shreveport and hit the road by 6. An hour drive to Ruston. Pickup some tacos and coffee we ordered for the tailgate. Then on to the stadium to raise the Orange and Blue colors high above the LaTech stadium.
Little did I know that this would be the life of a die hard UTSA fan.
